Getting to La Palma
Below are some of the best links for finding flights, although we will be more than happy to search for flights for you. Just let us know your preferred airport/s of departure.

If searching yourself, the airport code for La Palma is SPC. It is often confused, even by travel agents, for Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) or La Palma (Majorca). Also, please be warned that some on-line flight searchers will show you some high cost options. Most flights should be between £120 and £300 per person return.

Direct flights on a Monday from Manchester and Gatwick from 5th November 2007, then year round www.thomsonfly.com
Via Madrid www.opodo.com - www.iberia.com and www.skyjet.co.uk
UK via Tenerife with www.skyscanner.net (Most international flights use Tenerife South airport, whilst the Tenerife/La Palma flights use the north airport, so a transfer may, though not always, be needed.)
You can also search Tenerife to La Palma flights with www.binternet.com and www.islasairways.com
There is also a daily ferry between Tenerife and La Palma.
Additionally, direct flights are also available from Germany, Holland and Belgium.

* It might be useful to know that the flight code for La Palma is SPC. Most travel agents are not familiar with the code and will try to direct you to Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) or La Palma (Majorca)!

Getting to La Casita, Franceses, La Palma
From the airport it takes approximately 1hr 15 mins by car to Franceses and from the seaport only 1 hr. During the drive to Franceses you will see the scenery changing as you leave the city behind you and drive through banana plantations which then give way to pine trees and terraces of orange trees.
 
Although car hire is recommended, it is of course possible to arrive by taxi or bus.
 
There are several buses each day to and from Franceses (details on request) and there is a bus stop located 50metres away just up the donkey track from La Casita.
